• COTR Church Picnic and Baptism will be held on Sunday, August 23rd at the Salem Country Club. Deadline for signing up is Sunday, August 16th. The sign-up sheet is on the whiteboard; please mark all needed information. Bring a chair and a salad, casserole, or dessert. If you would like to be baptized, please sign the Baptism Sign-up sheet located on the whiteboard.
• Young Adults Worship Night this Saturday, August 8th at 7 pm here at the church. The whole church is invited to attend!
• Young Adults group meeting on August 17th at 5:30 pm at the Pelandas residence to celebrate together the end of our Romans bible study and the beginning of our new Bible in a Year study. Whether you’re fresh out of high school, in college, or looking for a group of young adults to grow in your faith with, we would love to have you join us. More information to come.
• COTR Fall Sunday School class, Total Forgiveness, starts on Sunday, September 13th, from 8:45-9:45 am. See Shane or Jessie Pelanda with any questions.
• Pregnancy Help Center Golf Fore Life is on Friday, September 18th at Youngstown Country Club. Donation fee of $150 per golfer or $600 per team of four. See whiteboard for more information and for other ways to support this event. See Dee Deem with any questions.
• COTR Ladies Fall Books & Brunch will be held on Saturday, October 3rd from 9-11 am here at the church. The book to read is, “Dust to Dust” by Jen Wilkin. Sign-up sheet on whiteboard.
• COTR Compassion Group is looking for volunteers to help provide meals for those in need. Sign up on the whiteboard or see Mary Lou Dale for more information.
• COTR Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes project needs a new volunteer to take over this Fall. See Debbie Yurchison if interested or with any questions.
• Save the Date! COTR Young Adults Fall Craft Show, Saturday, October 24th from 9 am-3 pm here at the church. The Young Adults group is currently looking for vendors for the show.
